The Campbell Institute, which is part of ACG Pathways, is now delivering The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) at our Wellington CBD site, thanks to a new partnership with Pearson.
Situated in the historic railway building in Pipitea, Wellington, The Campbell Institute will be a PTE-Academic dedicated centre in central Wellington that enables test takers to complete their reading, writing and listening tests on computer. There is also a speaking component.
Campbell is one of only two PTE Academic Test Centres in Wellington.
The new test centre will cater to the many international students and workers Wellington and nearby centres attract who need to sit a recognised English test for migration, study or professional reasons.
For test takers, Campbell students and ACG Pathways students, the new centre will bring convenience and more options.
“Our students have previously had to go off-site to sit their PTE Academic with other providers,” explained Mark Haines, Executive Principal, University Pathways.
“We will now be able to offer it to them here as an additional service to their English-language training or Foundation Course.”
The Campbell test site offers 12 workstations; biometric devices such as palm vein login, electronic signature, and camera for facial recognition; and a fast admission process that takes around 1-2 minutes. The computer-based test takes approximately three hours, with an optional 10-minute break.
The test centre is now open. To book online visit pearsonpte.com/book-now/
