Christmas Charity Auction 2009

Christmas Chartity Auction 2009The Bidding War Begins

This year proceeds from the Campbell Charity Auction went to the Wellington City Mission - a charity that looks after those in the Wellington community who are less fortunate than others.

The auction was a major success. All those involved, staff, students and teachers at The Campbell Institute had an exciting and fun time bidding for a wide variety of items. An eclectic array of goods were up for the highest bidder. From exclusive perfumes to homegrown organic cabbages, dinner dates, designer shoes and denims, all went under the hammer. The students had great fun out-bidding each other and the teachers.

In the end the auction raised over $1450 for the City Mission, an oustanding achievement. The top selling item was a dinner date with Warwick and the most unusual item was Emily's homegrown organic cabbage.

A massive thanks to all the students and staff at Campbell for their donations, participation and enthusiasm.
