Every year, Campbell welcomes a number of students who are on a pathway to a high school in New Zealand. Students from 14 years of age are able to attend our classes. The Campbell Institute has close relationships with the majority of high schools in Wellington and the greater Wellington region. These schools range from state to private schools, from single-sex to co-education schools, from larger schools in the city centre to smaller schools in the regions.
Once you have enrolled with a high school, we would be delighted to plan your English language studies around your intake date. If you don’t know any high schools in or around Wellington, we are happy to help.
High school students are assessed on their first day at Campbell and then placed into a General English class at the appropriate level. Students are tested regularly to help monitor their progress and to advise the high school that the student has achieved their required English level.
With a minimum enrolment period of only two weeks, students are welcome to join Campbell classes during their holidays.
Our campus is situated in the historical building of Wellington’s railway station – a central location that is easy to reach via train or bus from Wellington city, Porirua, the Hutt Valley and the broader Wellington region.
